About Dr. Song
I grew up in Sacramento and I have a deep appreciation for the community that has shaped my life. My educational journey began at the University of California, Berkeley, where I pursued my undergraduate studies with a focus on the sciences. I then attended the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine, where I developed a strong foundation in medical knowledge and clinical skills.
After completing my residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara, I returned to Sacramento, eager to serve my community and apply my expertise locally. I bring valuable experience as both a hospitalist and a general practitioner, allowing me to address a wide range of health concerns and provide comprehensive patient care.
In addition to my general medical training, I have furthered my education in obesity medicine and laser treatments, which enables me to offer a broad spectrum of services tailored to my patients’ unique needs. I am passionate about preventive medicine and mental health wellness, as I believe a holistic approach is essential for achieving optimal health. I also prioritize treating chronic pain with non-opioid methods, advocating for safe and effective alternatives that improve quality of life.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, as well as reading to stay intellectually engaged and informed. I am committed to lifelong learning and continually keep up with the latest developments in medical knowledge and evidence-based practices to ensure that I provide the best possible care for my patients.
